Hard to pronounce, impossible to forget! If you want to see the most rugged coast along Lake Superior, this is the place. Best seen from kayak, but be sure to go with a guided tour to stay safe in the remote terrain. Naturally Superior Adventures is your best bet.

Campground had some fantastic and private sites. Lots to do near by: interpretive center, short and long hiking trails, fine white sand beaches.

Do be aware of the cultural sensitivities involved in the park. We arrived later than we wanted to, & didn't take the time beforehand, but had the sense during visiting that it would be sacred ground. Rightly so.

Hikes for all ages. Our 3 and 5 year old enjoyed the 4 km loop (and did it all on foot) that had wild blueberries all along it and ended at a beach with crystal clear water we all went swimming in. Great views as the trails goes up and down over the rocks.

Awesome private sites and excellent hikes! Access to back country. WiFi in visitor centre. Interesting speakers. Amazing views of Lake Superior. They still had black flies in mid July! Bring bug repellent and jackets or you will be miserable. Beautiful beaches!

What a magical place. It reminded me of Tofino, BC at times, which if you've been there, you'll know what a compliment that is.

Pukaskwa camping is not for those who typically enjoy city-style camping or "glamping". There are some electric sites and showers but it is rugged, the weather can be unforgiving even in July and the water at it's 3 beaches is always cold. It is a beautiful park and the campsites have a decent amount of privacy. There are a ton of hiking trails ranging from beginner to very demanding. Even the shortest trails have some spectacular views of Lake Superior. If you're an outdoor enthusiast or even just appreciate nature then you will love Pukaskwa
